The answer at Gamers Heaven is pretty simple - through games. Gamers Heaven strives to create a comfortable, welcoming, and inclusive space to game and hang out with your fellow gamers. Located in Aurora, CO in an existing 16,000 sf building, the space plays with the idea of finding comfort in chaos, and embracing the notion that disorder and unpredictability contributes to the vibrancy of life.

Influenced by the dynamic streetscapes of Japanese cities, the busy, active, and noisy program of the main gaming and arcade areas are located in the center of the space. This gaming hub is surrounded by vertical elements, used as a visual and physical separation of space, and are reminiscent of the little shopfronts common along Japanese streets. These mini shops surround the main open gaming area, creating a feeling of comfort through repetition and predictability, as well as respite from the active gaming hub when desired. This space celebrates the act of play, and honors the notion that diving into different realms and realities can help you find comfort and acceptance within your own world.
